Ini dia si penulis lagu + rocker berjenggot tipis yang menjadi new american idol :
Dia emang favourite saya sejak awal karena suaranya ‘gw banget’ alias cowo banget. Walaupun secara suara saya lemah lembut dan lebih berwibawa (hoeks .. hoeks) tapi kalo dibandingin ma dia mah, ga beda jauh dech .. :p
Pas di final vs temennya di idol, David Archuletta, David Cook membawakan lagu- lagu yang cukup unik. Beda dengan David Archuletta yang membawakan lagu – lagu hits dan terkenal milik penyanyi lainnya. Simon Cowell pun bilang bahwa final tersebut dimenangkan oleh David Archuletta 3-0 alias Knock Out ! waw.. surpricing yah…. Tapi.. keesokan harinya pada saat result, si Simon Cowell secara langsung meminta maaf kepada Cook karena katanya nih, setelah pulang dia nonton lagi tu final and ngerasa kalo penilaiannya ke Cook salah. Alhasil… Ryan Seacrest mengumumkan… and the winner of American Idol 2008 … is… David…
